NWHP Interiors at 180 Dundas
NorthWest Healthcare Properties (NWHP) invests in real estate assets focused on tenants in the health and medical sectors. They relocated their head office to a more centrally located office building at University and Dundas Street and, with several buildings previously completed together, NWHP asked Sweeny&Co to lead the 15,000 sf interior fit out. The project involved demolishing the existing interiors including the elevator lobby, washrooms, and the drop ceilings throughout the space. The overall theme used a mix of refined white, gray and stainless-steel furniture, fixtures and equipment including the computer screens. Bright yellow privacy pods punctuate two corners of the open office, providing a quiet and secluded space for privacy or collaboration amidst the open office layout. Private offices are adjacent to the core to optimize access to daylight and views for all. In the reception, lounge and food area, a feature wall made of wood secludes a coat-check and a kitchen with a large Boardroom and several smaller meeting rooms, with high tech AV behind reception. Furniture ranges from luxuriously comfortable lounge seating to a playful melange of chairs in the kitchen.
